Goodwill of Silicon Valley (GWSV) is a non-profit organization that provides employment training, job placement, and other services to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. The organization has a strong senior leadership team that is committed to its mission and its clients.

The CEO of GWSV is Christopher Baker. Prior to becoming CEO in 2024 Christopher Baker was GWSV CFO for 15 years and had previously worked in the technology industry.  The transition from the technology sector was an easy one due to his passion for helping people and having an impact on the community. During this time, GWSV has seen significant growth in its programs and services. In 2023, the organization helped over 3,000 people obtain employment, and it generated over $80 million in revenue from its social enterprises and mission programs.

The CEO is supported by a strong team of vice presidents and directors. Trish Dorsey has been the Vice President of Mission Services for 22 years, during this time she has overseen the organization’s employment training and placement programs which have significantly grown and diversified in response to our local community needs. Jessica Castello is the Vice President of Retail, and she is responsible for the organization’s 18 retail stores and its online store. Travis Diaz is the Director of Operations and Transportation, and he is responsible for post retail revenue and contract services. Nandor Fejer is the Director of Information Technology, and he is responsible for the organization’s computer systems and networks and cyber security. Christopher Schumb is the General Counsel, and he is responsible for the organization’s legal affairs. John Seaman is the Director of Loss Prevention, Workplace Safety and Facilities. Micheal Spears is VP of Human Resources overseeing employee relations, benefits, HR policies and procedures as well as learning and development.
