Rod Kelley Parent Club Fundraiser

Time to collect your items that you can give for our donation fundraiser event for the Rod Kelley Parent Club.

Come donate this Sunday on 4/3/2022 at 8755 Kern Avenue in Gilroy for a donation fundraiser event for the Rod Kelley Parent Club.  A Goodwill trailer will be accepting donations from 9am until 2pm.  Check our homepage for a list of acceptable items to donate.

The Parent Club is responsible for raising funds for Rod Kelley Elementary School’s books, field trips, classroom supplies/materials for teachers and even facility upgrades.  They also provide volunteers for Movie Nights, the School Library and Book Fairs.  You can help raise the most funds for the Parent Club by spreading the word so we get the most donations possible.  Let’s fill this trailer up!

These donation fundraiser events are fun and easy to set up!  All you do is schedule the event, promote it, and we will send a trailer with an attendant to collect donations.  The more donations we collect, the more we can compensate your organization.  If you have any questions, email Travis Diaz travisd@goodwillsv.org or call (408) 421-3785.

Donation drives are an essential aspect of community building and improving the lives of those in need. Goodwill Silicon Valley is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing job training and employment services to individuals facing barriers to employment. They conduct frequent donation drives in the Silicon Valley area to collect gently used clothing, household items, and other goods.

The organization depends on the generosity of donors to support their mission and provide the resources necessary for their programs. When individuals donate items to Goodwill, they are helping to support the organization’s efforts to provide job training, employment placement services, and other community-based programs for people in need.

Goodwill Silicon Valley encourages everyone to participate in their donation drives and donate gently used items that they no longer need. Clothing, shoes, small household items, and electronics are just a few of the items that are always in high demand. In addition to supporting their mission, donating items to Goodwill is also an environmentally friendly option, as it helps reduce waste and promote sustainable living.

One of the benefits of donating to Goodwill is the convenience. They have multiple donation centers located throughout Silicon Valley, making it easy for individuals to drop off their items. Donors can also schedule a pickup if they have larger items or a large number of items to donate.

Goodwill Silicon Valley also provides tax receipts for donations, which can be used for tax deductions. By donating items to Goodwill, individuals can not only support their mission but also save money on their taxes.

In conclusion, Goodwill Silicon Valley’s donation drives are an excellent opportunity for individuals to give back to their community and support those in need. Donating gently used items is not only convenient but also provides a way to help others while promoting sustainability. By participating in Goodwill’s donation drives, individuals can make a positive impact in their community and support the organization’s efforts to provide job training and employment services to those in need.
