Give the Gift of Second Chances This Holiday Season

Goodwill of Silicon Valley - Job Training

The holidays remind us of what matters most: generosity, connection, and lifting one another up. Since 1928, Goodwill of Silicon Valley has carried that spirit forward, helping people build brighter futures through the power of work.

This season, your donations can do something truly extraordinary: They can change someone’s life.

Your Donations Make Transformation Possible

Every item you give and every dollar you donate power programs that help people overcome real barriers, including homelessness, justice involvement, disability, lack of work experience, and more.

Your generosity helps local neighbors:

  • Build in-demand job skills
  • Access one-on-one career coaching
  • Find stable employment
  • Regain confidence, dignity, and independence

When you give to Goodwill, you’re not just donating. You’re investing in someone’s second chance.

Impact Across Silicon Valley

Because of donors like you, Goodwill of Silicon Valley is able to:

  • Provide job training and career support to thousands of local residents each year.
  • Offers programs that empower people with disabilities to thrive at work and in life.
  • Support veterans and military families as they transition to new opportunities
  • Divert millions of pounds of clothing and household goods out of landfills, reducing waste and protecting our environment.

Every contributionbig or small, helps create economic mobility and strengthens the fabric of our community.

How to Give the Gift of Second Chances

This holiday season, consider extending your generosity in one of these meaningful ways:

  • Donate Goods: Gently used clothing, home goods, furniture, electronics, and holiday décor all fuel our mission and keep usable items out of landfills.
  • Make a Financial Gift: Monetary donations directly support our workforce programs and provide the resources people need to rebuild their lives.
  • Shop for Good: Every purchase at a Goodwill store helps fund local services and programs.

No matter how you give, your support provides hope, opportunity, and a chance to rise.
