CNC Machinist description: (Programs are offered at NO COST to clients)

Learn the basics of a manufacturing shop environment, vocabulary to navigate the industry, basic metal shop equipment usages, blueprint reading, precision measurements, quality assurance, CNC essential skills, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), and so much more!
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Have reliable transportation
- Eligible to work in the USA
- Fluent in the English language
- Pass pre-assessment in basic computer literacy, math skills & measurements
- Have a High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required)
- In good physical health; ability to stand for 5 hours and lift at least 25 lbs
- Must have smartphone or computer, and email address for daily Covid screening

CNC Machinist Course Information:
- Days: Monday – Thursday
- Length: 10-12 weeks
- Time: 4:30 pm – 9:30 pm
- Location: MetroEd, San Jose
