From the Bottom Up

Goodwill of Silicon Valley is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing job training and employment services to individuals in need. Through their programs and services, Goodwill helps individuals from the bottom up to build the skills and confidence necessary to secure and maintain employment, ultimately leading to a better future.

One of Goodwill’s main objectives is to provide job training and placement services to individuals who face barriers to employment, such as those with disabilities, veterans, and individuals with criminal records. Through hands-on training and practical experience, Goodwill helps individuals to develop the skills and confidence necessary to secure employment and start on a path to a better future.

In addition to job training and placement services, Goodwill of Silicon Valley also provides a range of other services to help individuals on their path to self-sufficiency. This includes job search assistance, resume building, interview skills, and more. Goodwill’s case managers work with individuals to create a personalized plan that addresses their specific needs and goals, ensuring that they receive the support necessary to succeed.

Goodwill of Silicon Valley also operates retail stores, which provide not only funding for their programs and services but also employment opportunities for individuals. By working in Goodwill’s stores, individuals have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build their skills, ultimately leading to better employment opportunities.

In conclusion, Goodwill of Silicon Valley is committed to helping individuals from the bottom up, providing the resources and support necessary to build a better future. Through job training and placement services, job search assistance, and employment opportunities, Goodwill of Silicon Valley helps individuals to overcome barriers to employment and achieve self-sufficiency. By supporting Goodwill of Silicon Valley, individuals can make a positive impact on their Silicon Valley community and help those in need to build a better future.
