Habtewold brings nearly two decades of dedication and expertise to Goodwill of Silicon Valley,
where he has served in a series of progressively responsible finance roles since 2006. Advancing
through roles including Accounts Payable Specialist, Accountant, Senior Accountant, and
Accounting Supervisor, his path to Finance Manager highlights both his depth of expertise and
his long-standing commitment to Goodwill’s mission.

 

Habtewold holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Donetsk State University in Ukraine and
an Accounting Proficiency Certificate from Denaza College. His strong analytical skills, attention
to detail, and solutions-oriented approach support the financial integrity and long-term stability
of the organization.

  • Two months of recent pay stubs

  • Most recent tax return (Form 1040)

  • Birth certificates or custody papers to confirm dependents

  • Social Security cards for all household members

Housing Verification:
  • Lease agreement, or

  • A letter from a shelter, institution, or transitional housing provider

QUALIFYING FOR SUPPORT

To participate in Veteran Family Services, the head of household—or their spouse—must be a U.S. veteran, and the household must meet low-income guidelines (at or below 80% of the area median income).
