Donate & Get Involved

At Goodwill of Silicon Valley, your donations do more than declutter your home – they change lives.

Goodwill of Silicon Valley - Donation
Goodwill of Silicon Valley - Worker

We turn gently used goods into opportunities by funding free job training, reentry support, and housing assistance programs that help people build self-sufficient futures. At the same time, we divert millions of pounds of usable items from landfills, creating a cleaner, greener Silicon Valley for all.

WHY DONATE?

Each item you give fuels:

  • Job training and employment programs
  • Reentry and housing support services
  • Environmental sustainability efforts

It’s an easy, impactful way to give back, support your community, and protect the planet.

HOW IT WORKS

We accept donations across Santa Clara and San Benito Counties. Your gently used items are collected, sorted, and either sold in our stores or responsibly recycled by our trained team. Proceeds from those sales fund programs that equip individuals with the skills and support they need to achieve self-sufficiency and provide for their families.
