DONATION DROP OFF
LOCATOR

We operate over 23 conveniently located donation drop off location sites across Santa Clara County and San Benito County. Each year, we receive almost one million donations and divert over 40 million pounds of waste from local landfills. In addition to protecting the environment, Goodwill of Silicon Valley uses your donations to create jobs and provide services to those facing barriers to employment.

Goodwill of Silicon Valley accepts a wide variety of items including clothing, housewares, shoes, books, jewelry, and electronics (working and non-working). We also accept printers, microwaves, vacuums, sellable furniture, small appliances, foreign currency, and baubles.

We DO NOT accept large appliances, large furniture, batteries, weapons, trash, liquids of any kind (paints, oils, alcohol, flammables, etc) or hazardous chemicals.

Goodwill Silicon Valley is a nonprofit organization that helps people in the local community by providing job training, education, and employment opportunities. The organization operates several drop-off locations where people can donate their gently used clothing, household items, and other items that can be resold in Goodwill stores. These drop-off locations are designed to make it easy for people to donate items that they no longer need or use, and to help support the organization’s mission of providing assistance to those in need.

The drop-off locations operated by Goodwill Silicon Valley are typically located in convenient areas, such as near shopping centers or in neighborhoods. They are typically staffed by friendly and knowledgeable volunteers who can assist donors with the process of dropping off their items. The locations are open during regular business hours, and some may also have extended hours or be open on weekends.

When you visit a Goodwill Silicon Valley drop-off location, you can expect to find a clean and well-organized facility. The items that are accepted include clothing, shoes, accessories, household items, furniture, electronics, and more. There is usually a designated area for each type of item, making it easy to find the right place to drop off your donations.

Goodwill Silicon Valley also accepts donations of vehicles, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, and RVs. These donations are typically handled through a separate process, and donors can contact the organization for more information about how to donate a vehicle.

Goodwill Silicon Valley’s drop-off locations also accept donations of books, CDs, and DVDs. They also accept donations of jewelry, collectibles, and other items of value. These items can be sold in Goodwill stores or online to raise money for the organization’s programs.

In addition to accepting donations, Goodwill Silicon Valley’s drop-off locations also offer a variety of other services to help support the local community. These services may include job training and education programs, assistance with finding employment, and other resources to help people improve their lives.

Overall, Goodwill Silicon Valley’s drop-off locations are an important part of the organization’s mission to provide assistance to those in need. They make it easy for people to donate items they no longer need, and the proceeds from the sale of these items help support the organization’s programs and services. By donating to Goodwill Silicon Valley, you are not only decluttering your home but also helping the less fortunate people in your community.
